Lars Sponheim (Chair of the Norwegian Liberal Party since 1996) has been Minister of Agriculture in the present government since October 2001. For 3 years from 1997 he was Minister of Trade and Industry. He was a member of the Liberal Party National Executive Committee and the Central Executive Committee from 1990-1992. He has held a number of political offices since 1983.
